Dennis & Associates is not a law firm.  We are not lawyers.  We are Legal Document Assistant Professionals authorized to provide self-help services to the public in the entire state of California, pursuant to Business & Professions Code sections 6400 - 6415.  We offer legal support to clients representing themselves in legal matters.  

We are graduates from University and American Bar Association approved programs as well as registered, bonded, and insured, with nearly 30 years’ experience providing legal support. 

A Legal Document Assistant (“LDA”) may not provide service to a client who requires the services of an attorney. (B&P Section 6401.6)  If after discussing your unique situation it appears you require the assistance of an attorney, we will follow this section and refer you to seek the advice of a lawyer. 

LDAs cannot represent anyone in court, advise you about your legal rights or the law, or select legal forms for you. (B&P Section 6410.5) 

An LDA is an affordable, non-lawyer option to help you navigate your legal matter.
